UPRR Contracts Mark-It

On May 28, 2008, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) announced that in an effort to improve efficiency and provide overall value to their customers, it contracted Mark-It Services to act as its exclusive agent for inspection and servicing of all TOFC and COFC refrigerated units traveling on its rails.

Effective June 1, 2008 Mark-It Services, which has 110 locations nationwide, replaced UPFE and began to provide service at the following ramps on the UPRR: Salt Lake City, Ogden, El Paso, Avondale, and North Platte.
